Hello friends,
These days, a movie called Dhurandhar is generating a lot of discussion. Some people are criticizing the way it depicts violence, while many others are supporting the film, claiming it reflects reality. Both sides have their own opinions.

However, if we look at it objectively, the good thing is that this film shows the brutal murders of Indian spies that have taken place in Pakistan. It also clearly depicts how innocent Indian citizens were mercilessly killed by Pakistani terrorists, and how hundreds of innocent Indians lost their lives in bomb blasts.
This is all a reality that the people of India can never forget, and should never forget. So, if an Indian film wants to show the Indian people the terrorist attacks that have occurred in India and the atrocities committed by Pakistan, there is nothing wrong with that.
[For example, just a few days ago, on a YouTube channel (The Raunak Podcast), Lakshman Singh Bisht (a former Indian spy, NSG commando, and sniper) stated that the violent scenes shown in the film are actually far less violent than what happens in reality.]
From this, we can clearly understand that this film is a glimpse of reality. and one more thing turning a blind eye doesn’t change reality.

Inaccuracies shown in the film “Dhurandhar”:
This film depicts some things incorrectly. As we know, a man named “Rehman Dacoit,” who lived in Lyari, Pakistan, was a major criminal. He was a cruel man who killed his own mother at the age of 15. This film largely glamorizes the character of this man, played by Akshaye Khanna. Additionally, Arjun Rampal played the role of ISI agent “Major Iqbal.” The film makes both of these characters appear far too appealing.
The consequences of this are clearly visible in today’s social media trends. People in India are creating videos praising terrorists who brutally killed their own countrymen. People are making videos glorifying terrorists, which is wrong.
But the person you should really know about is not these terrorists, but a true hero of the country.
His name is Ajit Doval!

Ajit Doval (A True Hero of India):
A true hero of India, who dedicated his entire life to protecting the country from terrorists. It is very sad to know that, despite his character being depicted in the film “Dhurandhar,” people are more interested in glorifying terrorists than recognizing such a hero.
Ajit Doval was born on January 20, 1945, in Ghiri Banelsyun village of Pauri Garhwal district in Uttarakhand. Ajit Doval joined the Indian Police Service (IPS) in the 1968 batch and served as the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Kottayam district of the Kerala cadre.
Later, as we know, the war between India and Pakistan took place in 1971 [to liberate East Pakistan (present-day Bangladesh)]. At that time, Ajit Doval, who had been in the IPS for four years, joined the Intelligence Bureau (IB) in 1971. From 1972 onwards, he worked undercover in Pakistan for approximately seven years, conducting espionage.
In addition, Ajit Doval played a role in preventing 15 aircraft hijackings between 1971 and 1999 (According to Wikipedia).
Resolving the hijacking of the Indian aircraft by terrorists :-

On December 24, 1999, Indian Airlines flight IC-814, en route from Nepal to Delhi, was hijacked by terrorists. The plane had over 170 passengers on board. The terrorists, at gunpoint, ordered the pilot to fly to Pakistan. However, due to low fuel, the plane was forced to land in Amritsar (Punjab) for refueling. The Indian government was under immense pressure from the public and the media. The delay in refueling in Amritsar aroused suspicion among the terrorists, and they took off again without refueling.
They then landed the plane in Dubai. After refueling there, they flew to Kandahar (Afghanistan) and landed the plane. A seven-member team from India was sent to negotiate with the terrorists. Ajit Doval was one of the seven members. During the negotiations, the terrorists demanded $200 million from the Indian government and the release of 36 terrorists imprisoned in India.
However, Ajit Doval skillfully negotiated with them. After many hours of talks and persuasion, Ajit Doval managed to convince them to settle for the release of only three terrorists. The Indian government was forced to release these three terrorists to save the lives of the passengers.
These three terrorists were:
(1) Masood Azhar: Masood Azhar was arrested in Jammu and Kashmir in February 1994 for entering the country with a fake identity using a Portuguese passport. He was held in Bhawal Jail in Jammu.
After his release in 1999, Masood Azhar founded the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed in Pakistan. He has been responsible for numerous terrorist attacks since 1999. According to intelligence reports, he is still alive and may be hiding in the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) region.
(2) Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh: He was an international terrorist. He was involved in the murder of a famous American journalist. In India, he was arrested in 1994 on charges of kidnapping foreign tourists and was held in Tihar Jail.
(3) Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar: He was arrested in India in 1992. He was involved in approximately 50 murders and the kidnapping of Dr. Rubaiya Saeed, the daughter of Mufti Mohammad Saeed. Mufti Mohammad Saeed became India’s first Muslim Home Minister on December 2, 1989, and his daughter was kidnapped on December 8, 1989. In exchange for his daughter’s release, he demanded the release of five of his terrorist associates, which the government agreed to.
At that time, the Prime Minister was Vishwanath Pratap Singh (V.P. Singh). He was released due to the 1999 plane hijacking. After his release, he reactivated the terrorist organization called Al-Umar Mujahideen.
“These three were all major terrorists from Pakistan. But the Indian government had to take this step in exchange for the lives of 170 people and release them. However, it is also noteworthy that after their release in 1999, they killed hundreds of innocent Indian civilians and soldiers. And they are still running their terrorist organizations today.
Recently, after “Operation Sindoor,” a video surfaced through sources in which Masood Azhar said that many members of his family were killed in this attack carried out by India.”
Other major works of Ajit Doval:
Ajit Doval played a crucial role in Operation Sindoor (in response to the killing of 26 people by terrorists in Pahalgam). And on May 7, 2025, he orchestrated an airstrike by the Air Force on precise terrorist targets in Pakistan.
In 2014, terrorists took more than 40 Indian nurses hostage in Iraq. He secretly went to Iraq himself and brought the nurses back to India.
In 2019, the Balakot airstrike took place, in which many Jaish-e-Mohammed targets were attacked and terrorists were killed. This strike was carried out in response to the Pulwama attack (in which 40 CRPF jawans were martyred).
Conclusion:
In this way, we can understand what Ajit Doval has done for the security of India and its people. He is also called the Chanakya of India. He has responded wisely to attacks on India over the past several decades.
But the Indian public is also amazing. They are forgetting such a hero and praising a cruel terrorist. They should understand who the real hero of the country is, who has repeatedly saved the lives of innocent people in India.
Hopefully, the future generations of India will remember such courageous acts of Ajit Doval.
Thank you!
