Just like you,
Most people living in this world are either theists or atheists. A theist is someone who believes in God, and a atheist is someone who does not believe in God. And then there are some people who generally appear to be atheist, but when they are in trouble or afraid, they start remembering God. This story is definitely not for those hypocrites, because their opinions don’t matter.
Story: (A story that teaches you whether you should be a theist or an atheist)
This is the story of two friends. Mohan, who believes in God, and Vijay Singh, who is an atheist. They argued every day about who was right, the theist or an atheist. One day, they both went to a Guru (Religious teacher). They explained their situation and asked who was right.
The guru paused for a moment and said, “There is a forest nearby. After walking about two miles into this forest, you will see a dry tree. Collect some wood from there and bring it back here. After that, I will answer your question. And listen, if it gets very dark, come back, even if you haven’t found any wood. This forest is not a good place to stay at night.”
Both go into the forest :

The two friends, following their guru’s instructions, went into the dense forest.
It got quite late as they walked, and darkness began to fall. So Mohan (the believer) said that they should go back. But Vijay disagreed and said, “You’re scared, but I’m not.” I will only leave after I’ve collected the wood, as the guru instructed. The forest was very dense. Mohan was quite frightened. They had gone quite far into the forest, and still hadn’t found any dry trees, and it was getting very late. They decided to turn back. But just then, some tribal robbers from the forest appeared.
Both of them were very scared. But gathering their courage, they both ran away in different directions. Mohan (theist) was very frightened and was running. His heart was pounding, and some robbers were chasing him. Mohan was praying to God in his mind.
On the other hand, Vijay ran very fast and hid behind a tree. But one of the robbers spotted him. Vijay, with all his might, knocked him unconscious. But the trouble didn’t end there. After running some distance, a lion appeared in front of him. He was terrified. Controlling himself, Vijay slowly started to move away. But the lion’s eyes fell on him. But for some reason, the lion didn’t chase him; perhaps the lion wasn’t hungry at that time. Whatever the reason, But Vijay managed to get away.
Meanwhile, Mohan (theist) was running away from the robbers and chanting God’s name. While running, he closed his eyes and prayed wholeheartedly to his God. “Please God, save me from these robbers.”
With his eyes closed, he kept running forward. After running for a long time, he collided with a tourist’s car coming from the opposite direction. The people in the car helped him and asked him why he was in the forest. Mohan told them everything. Then they put Mohan in the car and drove him away from the forest. Vijay and Mohan reached the guru’s place late at night. They told the guru everything that had happened. After hearing everything, the guru told them to rest until morning.
After sunrise:
In the morning, both of them asked the guru the question they had come to ask: What is the right thing to be, a theist or an atheist?
The Guru made them sit down and said, “By understanding what happened to you both last night, you will get the correct answer to your question.”
Mohan, you are a theist. You prayed to God from your heart, and He sent angels in the guise of tourists to help you. But the special thing about you was that you didn’t just sit there blindly trusting in God. Instead, you saved yourself and kept running. You did everything you could. The most important thing was that even during this incident, your faith in God did not waver.

God protects those who make every effort to protect themselves. It was your faith that, after trying everything possible, compelled you to close your eyes and surrender everything to God.
Surrendering to God after all your efforts doesn’t make you weak or defeated. Rather, it gives you the satisfaction that whatever happens will be for the best. Even if it doesn’t turn out well, it’s okay. If you have this satisfaction in your mind, all problems automatically get resolved. Because whether a problem is big, small, or insignificant depends entirely on your perspective. Therefore, your being a believer (theist) is absolutely right, because your God provides you with the foundation of satisfaction.
Looking at Vijay, the Guru said:
Vijay, you are an atheist. When darkness fell and the robbers came, you, too, panicked like Mohan. You ran away from those robbers. Those enemies of your life were chasing you. But the thought of God didn’t cross your mind even for a moment. You didn’t even try to trust in God. This shows that you are truly an atheist. But the most important thing is that you trusted yourself. You relied solely on yourself.
And with that trust and understanding, you hid behind a tree. You showed courage. You fought a robber and knocked him unconscious. All this is proof that you consider yourself your own foundation. Which is not wrong at all. The fact that “you don’t believe in God” only seems wrong to the people of this world. But for nature or God, you are perfectly right. That’s why even a lion came before you, which could have devoured you in a matter of seconds. But even after seeing you, the lion did nothing. This means that despite not believing in God, your fate is kind to you.
Just as nature protected the believer (theist) Mohan, it also protected the atheist Vijay. This means that being a theist or an atheist is a choice that humans make to keep their hearts at peace. But for God in the form of nature, you are all equal.
It doesn’t matter whether you are a theist or an atheist. The only difference is on what basis you calm your mind when you are in a difficult situation.
“Both listened attentively to the guru. They understood everything perfectly. After this, they took the guru’s blessings.”
After walking a short distance, Vijay stopped.
Vijay asked his guru:
“Guruji, please tell me, are you a theist or an atheist?”
The guru replied:
I am a consciousness theorist (consciousness-oriented). Consciousness means that (a person is aware and feels their own existence. Whatever they can perceive is their consciousness). “Consciousness theorists” are those who believe that God is a universal consciousness.

It has no shape, no form; it is simply a consciousness that we can experience through meditation. And when I meditate, I clear everything else from my mind. The power I feel in that state of emptiness, that power is God for me. Truly, I consider that power to be my foundation.
“All the characters and events in this story are fictional. This story is purely a work of fiction. It is not intended to offend anyone’s feelings.”
So, simply put, if you are a theist, you will consider God’s statues as the foundation of your life. If you are an atheist, you will consider yourself as the foundation of your life. And if you are a consciousness theorist like me, you will consider God’s consciousness/power as the foundation of your life.
Actually ,We are all fine in our own ways, “we don’t need to change.”
